Scrapbooking is a very hands on pastime which is why I found a scrapbooking video guide a must.
It is very easy to start off on any creative project and let your ego carry you away - I know I’ve been there.
But as with everything there are some boundaries, and guidelines out there to get beautiful results that we’d never have given thought to ourselves.
Also; especially with scrapbooking you can sometimes get a bit stuck for ideas and wish for a new lease of life as far as creative expression and imagination goes.

Scrapbooking has become quite an easy way to compile and present photos, memories and so much more. Particularly with the many available online and offline tools made available today for the avid scrapbooker. One such website I recently visited had nearly 115,000 members registered on their forums. In fact, there were nearly 900 people on the forums at the very same time I was there. And this was 2:00 in the afternoon!

Albums are among the essential materials that you would need to consider in the scrapbooking projects. They are the body that builds the bulk of papers, cards and embellishments and act as protectors of your memorabilia.
Following are some fundamental scrapbooking album cares that will help reduce the immediate damages that may be brought by a number of harmful elements to your memory keepers.
1- Liquids
Keep away your album from liquids. Liquids do not only spoil the outside covering of your scrapbook, they may as well cause damage on the photos, memorabilia, negatives and other water non-resistant materials. Also, keep your working area clear from liquids.

From what I read and see, many scrappers are turning away from the high-maintenance time consuming and expensive scrapbook page. I think one thing that has changed in the scrapbook industry is the number of scrappers who have time or even like to spend 2 hours (or even 2 days) on a single page. Most of us have figured out that we are buried under a growing mountain of photos. As my husband pointed out to me last week- digital photography has become a scrapper’s best friend AND worst enemy. I snap digital photos like there’s no tomorrow because I know I can print out ONLY the ones I actually want. However, because I take so many photos, I now have MORE good ones that I want to scrap. You can’t win! So, many of us are buckling down and turning away from the artistic side of scrapping and moving towards the “just get it done” side.

You just signed up for a scrapbooking or stamping direct sales company. You now start on the recruiting “train”. It’s not required, but it seems to be the “thing to do”. You hold workshops or parties and all through the workshop, you “sell” the idea of joining your company with the idea that if you can get people to sign up, you’ll be home-free - making money on THEIR sales - WooHoo! Sounds like a good plan, doesn’t it? Well, maybe not. Nothing can potentially kill a good business faster than recruiting. Huh?
