Divorce changes us. No matter whose decision it is to end a marriage, we are different than we used to be. This is a key characteristic to recognize as you begin dating again. You are not the same person you were the last time you were dating. Accept this. Don’t beat yourself up over not feeling comfortable dating or worrying that you don’t know what the “rules” are for dating this time around.

This mixed bag of feelings often leads people to wind up at two different extremes once they make the decision to start dating again. Neither is especially healthy. Let’s look at what the extremes are and how to temper them a little to find a balance that works for you and your family.

It is not uncommon for parents to read behaviour in their child as a period, considering how quickly fads seem to come and go through out childhood and teenage years.

 However it is important to be aware of that while they may not be able to partake in the world as an mature adult they are just as able to feel the heart ache of depression as any other individual irrespective of age. The reasons for depression in youth are numerous but with the distressing increase of suicide rates in Australia it is important to attempt and notice some of the factors in a bid to help our loved ones.

Life Can Thrive - Even After Divorce

This morning, I was toying with the different qualities of God and put together two seemingly incongruous qualities: infinite and intimate. Consider that we are intimately involved with the infinite God! Wrapped up in infinity! It is something that I can feel now, after going through an unwanted divorce.

After a marriage that I felt I had prayed about and felt sincerely that I was led to resulted in divorce, I was deeply discouraged and felt I had very few prospects. Worse still, I felt that God had abandoned me. Now, I had nothing.
