Now more than ever, Home Business Owners are trying to learn the secrets to creating an internet MLM lead generation program that will feed their business with a constant flow of new prospects. MLM & Network Marketing businesses have been around and providing opportunities for Home Business Owners for a very long time, but in the last 5 to 10 years the way Network Marketing works has changed drastically due to the internet. This means that many traditional strategies are on the decline as more an more people seek information online.
To create a successful internet lead generation program for your MLM, you must have a few key pieces in place and working. If any of these pieces is neglected, your MLM marketing system will be dramatically less effective, or worthless.
The 3 key components to a successful online MLM lead capture program are:
1) A way to drive traffic: This means that you must have a way to get people to look at your website. This can included free organic traffic, content based traffic, free reports, social networking, or even pay per click traffic through Google, Yahoo, MSN or others.
2) A way to capture the prospect’s information: Once you have a way to get traffic to the site, you must create enough rapport, emotion, and motivation for the prospect to input their contact information. In most cases a free gift or incentive is offered in exchange for the prospects contact information such as e-mail, name, and even phone number or mailing address. Note: the less info you ask for, the more likely a prospect is to enter their information.
3) A follow up system: Now that you have a prospect’s information, it is critical that you contact them to build rapport, create trust, and show them how your company can create value for them. This is the key to building a successful internet based MLM lead generation program because very few people will join your opportunity immediately. Network Marketing is a relationship based business (even over the phone or internet) so it takes time to develop enough trust for people to join your opportunity. This is where a tool like an auto responder is invaluable.
Creating a successful internet lead generation program for your MLM takes time, but is well worth the efforts. It has allowed thousands of savvy Network Marketers to explode their business very rapidly, and appears to be the future of the industry.
