At the beginning of your action figure collection, does not matter from where are you buying. But your collection will increase and you will want rare and expensive toys. Follow these tips and you will not waste your money.
Buying in online auction
For me, online auction is the best method for buying action figures. I say this because:
- Online auction has the cheapest prices I have ever seen! There are a lot of people selling action figures. This make all prices goes down, so you will save your hard earned money!
- Everybody sell and buy at online auctions, so you will find almost all action figures you want to buy. You can find rares vintage toys for nice prices, and new toys a lot more cheaper then in normal stores.
Buying in stores
In the stores of your city you will find a lot of action figures. But in those stores they sell only new action figures. And their prices is not the best. If you just want the newest sculpt, it will cover your needs!
Buying in garage sales
Some people get their “trash”, go to the garage, and sell everything for low prices. Sometimes those people find old action figures (they do not know how much it worth) and sell for ridiculous prices!
I think that you would not like to lose vintage toys for low prices. Buy your local newspaper, read local ad classified, talk with your neighbors, be involved with your neighborhood! Doing this you will never lose any garage sales. Remember, we want that you save your money!

A place with a lot of people who loves action figures and toys, everybody trading, buying and selling.
Here is the best place to buy vintage and rare toys. You can buy rare for cheap prices, and you can see the action figure before buying it, so, there is no way to get low quality toys!
So, that is it. Do not forget: if you want to resell your toys, do not unpack them! Action figures in the package are much more valuable.
