Do You Have An Audio Logo

- Logos in the electronic world -

This wisdom is intended to be short, sweet and hit you in the head like a brick of awakening. The voice you use to present your product in the electronic world needs to be consistent! Too many local advertisers use local voices because they usually come free if you use a voice from a local radio broadcaster. This is the worst decision you could make. Not because these talents lack talent. It’s because they are usually the voice for the majority of your competitors.

The best investment you can make is to find a unique voice. I suggest Market Mania or ProComm. These companies have professional voice talents from across the USA that will allow you to have a truly unique voice in your market. Think about it! The voice you use is the electronic logo of your company. Tom Bodet became an icon for Motel 6. What would the Motel 6 ads be like if there were a different voice in every ad? You already know the answer.

When you place a print ad, do you create a different visual logo for you company in every ad? Of course not! Your unique voice is the logo of your electronic ads. Pick one and stay loyal to it. The more you change voices the harder it is for listeners to realize who the company is. The job of great marketing is to make it easy for your prospects to process the ad, recognize the company advertising and assess the benefit of your offerings.

I hope this was short enough for you!
